NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PREQUALIFICATION/ON-CALL SOLICITATION NOTICE The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is requesting Prequalification submittals from firms and is also requesting submittals for the 2011-2012 On-Call Program. For the purpose of soliciting proposals in accordance with 23CFR172, entitled “Administration of Related Service Contracts“, the NDOT maintains lists of responsible prequalified firms that possess the ability to successfully perform needed services. Solicitation for Prequalification is an annual solicitation and has no cutoff date for submissions. The NDOT is always open to receipt of Prequalification statements from interested firms. NOTICE OF HEARING FOR ADOPTION OF REGULATION OF THE STATE OF NEVADA BOARD OF WILDLIFE COMMISSIONERS The Board of Wildlife Commissioners will hold a public hearing at the Churchill County Chambers, 155 N. Taylor Street, Suite 110, Fallon, Nevada on August 14, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments from all interested persons regarding the adoption of regulations. NOTICE OF PROPOSED ACTION The Administrator, Division of Environmental Protection, Carson City, Nevada is issuing the following notice of proposed action under the Nevada Revised Statutes and the Clean Water Act. The Administrator has received a complete application for renewal of groundwater discharge permit, NEV2004522, from the following applicant: Bill Artamenko Yaweh Farms 1491 Lower Honcut Road Oroville, CA 95966 The Permittee proposes to construct and operate a vermiculture facility to process a maximum of 11,000 wet tons per year of dewatered domestic septage to Class A biosolids standards at Yaweh Farms. Yaweh Farms is located 3 kilometers west of Toulon on the south side of Tomi Road, Pershing County, Nevada. To be eligible for public distribution, the metals concentrations in the castings must be below the biosolids pollutant concentration limits and adequate pathogen reduction must be demonstrated. The castings are proposed to be sold to nurseries and horticulturists as potting material. On the basis of preliminary review of the requirements of the Nevada Revised Statutes and the Clean Water Act, as amended, and implementing regulations, the Administrator proposes to renew the discharge permit for a five (5) year period, subject to certain effluent limitations.
